Privacy policy
Effective 2026-10-27 · Version 1.0
- We never store your receipt number. We send it to USCIS, show you the answer, and forget it.
- We never sell your data, for money or anything else.
- We share nothing with advertisers. There are no ads and no ad trackers.
- If you join our app waitlist, we keep your email only to tell you when the app launches. You can delete it at any time.
- If we change this policy, we tell you what changed in plain words and ask for your consent.
Who we are
Case Status Check (casestatuscheck.com) is run by Rimone Inc., a company incorporated in the United States. 1301 N Broadway STE 32743, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Questions about this policy: privacy@casestatuscheck.com.
What we collect
Receipt number: when you check a case, you type a receipt number. We use it once, to ask USCIS for the status, and we do not save it.
Anonymous counts: for each check we record the first three letters of the receipt number (for example EAC), the time and whether USCIS answered. These records cannot identify you or your case.
Email address: only if you join the app waitlist, with the page you joined from.
Technical data: your IP address is used for a few seconds to block abuse and robots. We do not keep it in our records.
We do not collect your name, address, A-Number, location, contacts, financial or health information.
How we use it
To show you your case status, to keep the service safe from abuse, to count how much the service is used, and to send one launch email if you asked for it.
We may publish totals, such as the number of checks made in a month. Totals never include receipt numbers or emails.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your data, for money or for any other benefit.
Your choices
You can use the status check without giving us anything else. Joining the waitlist is optional.
Sharing your email with us has one benefit: a launch notice. The risk is the one any stored email carries, such as a data breach. We keep only what is needed to limit that risk.
How long we keep data
Receipt numbers: not kept. Anonymous counts: 24 months. Waitlist emails: until the app launches plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
We do not offer accounts, so there is no dormant account to keep.
Deleting your data
Write to privacy@casestatuscheck.com from the address you used, or click the unsubscribe link in our email. We permanently delete your email within 30 days of your request and confirm when it is done.
California residents have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information. We honor them for everyone.
If there is a data breach
If a breach affects your data, we will email you without undue delay and explain what happened, what data was involved and what you can do.
If the company changes hands
If Case Status Check is sold or merged, we will tell you in advance. The new owner must follow this policy. If it cannot, we will let you delete your data before the transfer.
If we close the service, we will delete waitlist emails.
Changes to this policy
We will post the new version here with a short summary of what changed, in plain language. For any change that affects how we use your email, we will ask for your active consent by email before it applies to you.
